The Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria has invited David Okeme, President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria ADVAN who is also Brand Building Director at Unilever Plc as a keynote speaker to the September edition of its capacity building and knowledge sharing Monthly Breakfast Meeting.
The event which is scheduled for Wednesdy, September 23 2015 at Adna Hotel in GRA Ikeja Lagos is titled ‘What Do Clients Really Want? ‘
John Ehiguese, PRCAN President explained that previous editions featured well respected leaders on the client side who shared deep insights with participants in order to enhance the relationship between clients and their communications consultants.
He said: “Similar to the previous editions which featured well respected speakers from the public relations industry and senior executives on the client side such as Ekufre Ekenam, the Corporate Affairs Adviser of Nigerian Breweries and Emeka Oparah, Director of Corporate Communications and CSR at Airtel Networks, this third edition will have David Okeme, Brand Building Director at Unilever Plc who is also the president of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) as a keynote speaker”.
“Okeme will be speaking from a client’s perspective on what clients really want from their PR agencies. The whole essence of the initiative is to strengthen the working relationship between our agencies and clients”, Ehiguese added.
PRCAN is legally chartered by a Bye Law of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), to cater to the interests of the consultancy side of PR practice in Nigeria. It currently has a membership of 50 PR consultancy firms providing services across at least 21 PR practice areas.
