The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Solid Minerals Akwa Ibom State, Sir. Charles Udoh today was conferred with Fellowship award at Maurid Polytechnic, This award was an appreciation of his contribution to human capacity development and service to humanity.
The award ceremony which was performed by the Member Representing Mkpat Enin, Ikot Abasi, Eastern Obolo Federal Constituency Hon. Francis Uduyok and Assisted by the Chairman Maurid Polytechnic Governing Council Dr. Godwin Umontuen at the 11th Matriculation and Conferment ceremony.
Sir. Charles Udoh while giving a speech after the Conferment thanked the management of the school for spotting him out to be awarded among others, he encouraged the Matriculating students on the expectations of the current post modernism age and tasked them to take their academic activities seriously.
He further reiterated the importance of combining craft with academics for sustainability and growth, while assuring the institution of his continuous support and availability when seeked upon.
