Having disappeared from the Nigerian market for almost a decade, Alcatel, one of the first mobile phone brands that came to the country when GSM services was launched in 2001 has made its way back into the Nigerian smartphone market with Alcatel OneTouch.
The new device, which positioned to push brands such as Huawei P8, Infinix Hot Note series, Lenovo black Note series and other emerging smartphone brands from the east, would be launched today at Four Point by Sheraton in Lekki Lagos.
Expected to grace the occasion is the upwardly mobile individuals and high octane customers across the south west market. This product launch is expected to touch some key commercial cities in Nigeria such as Port Harcourt, Kano, Abuja, Anambra, Ibadan and Uyo.
The new phone which is referred to as Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 has been described as a perfect balance of price and performance by some phone users across the world. The phone was released as an unlocked Android phone that could give the standard fare a run for their money.
For those that do not know Unlocked Android phones are the future of the mobile landscape.

Despite the fact that Alcatel has left the Nigerian market for a while, the expectation of the new OneTouch is reportedly high because of the credibility of the Alcatel brand in the phone market globally.
