Consumer marketing professional, Ejiro Iku-Ahusimere has joined the services of the world’s largest chemical producer, BASF West Africa as its Regional Marketing Manager, Personal Care Category Sub Sahara Africa.

Before her appointment, she was the Head of Homecare Category PZ Cussons Nigeria where she was responsible for the category’s business and marketing strategy.

At PZ Cussons Nigeria, she started with the dishwash category with brands like Morning fresh and grew to manage the total homecare category including the fabric care segment where her brands were No 1 in their various segments.

In her new position for BASF West Africa, she would be responsible for leading and managing marketing for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) through supporting profitable growth of the business unit portfolio across personal care, improving the strategy that aligns with the various market segment, and implementing projects according to regional strategy.

Ejiro has over the years proven to be a Marketeer with a strong passion for winning. She’s also skilled in People centric leadership, Business strategy, Stakeholders management, excellent execution, and building high performance team.

She started her core Marketing FMCG career at Reckitt Benckiser Nigeria as a Management trainee, and rose to Brand manager Health Care before joining PZ Cussons.
