The Africa Brand Award is an organization that promotes Africa brand and honours prominent companies in Africa.
The 2022 edition was held recently at Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos on the 31st March with the theme: “Promoting the Africa Brand: Strategic Role of CEOs”.
It was a memorable event where top CEOs shared their experiences in business.
One of the Awardees, Mr Aniekan Willie, MD/CEO of Mantra Protection Solution Limited stated that MANTRA has been existing for years as a Group hence it maintained a good track record in Africa and in the United Kingdom.
He further reiterated that MANTRA as a security company that protects lives and properties in our society also deals with corporate affairs
Bolanle Oduyale the MD/CEO of CREDIT WISE, a financial solution company that brings out the best by supporting women with financial services specially tailored to enable them achieve their goal in the society.
CREDIT WISE gives loans to women and also guide them on how to make use of it.
Mrs Oduyale observed that at time some of our women need capital to start their businesses with relevant guidelines, CREDIT WISE has been doing great for years with a lot of testimonies of its excellent business prowess.
On his part, Mr. Victor Ebhomenye, the Executive Director of Market Trends International; a marketing reserach company that give consumer insight and consultancy for businesses in Africa, said that they have been existing for years as they have built businesses for different companies across multiple sectors.
He advised the up-coming business owners to seek for Consultant for better growth in their businesses.
Rotimi George Tylor, the MD/CEO of Gotham Property Construction Company Limited, said Gotham gives quality to their customers in Africa.
The company is into Real Estate Management to solve housing problems. He said the company thrive on excellent customer service.
Mr Rotimi George stated that Gotham gives free training on how to become a Real Estate merchant and gives necessary instruction and guidline. He, therefore, advises other construction companies to use quality materials in their work to avoid building collaspe in our society.
Emeka Duru, the MD/CEO of Goodgate Finance said that Goodgate finance is a reliable finance company that was licenced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
He noted that Goodgate finance is a company that has been doing creditably well in Africa finance Industry. Among other things he said we have giving loans worth some six hundred million Naira (N600,000,000) to our customers.
In addition, we have more than 120 thousand Customers globaly that we are managing not underscoring the fact that we have competitors. However, he observed, we are still measuring up in the finance Industry.
Mr Emeka Duru said it was not easy to become CEO, because it requires confidence, being focused, and determined to achieve results. With those elements well harnessed, one can go places.
For Fru James Suh MD/CEO Empire Media Group Cameroon, he said the group works with network providers globally like MTN, GLO, AIRTEL, e.t.c. We also manage them to fix their problems which make things work better.
Other CEOs that spoke and share experience include Auxilia Media, PROFICIENT Capital, Gross Asset & Properties, Adept Lessor Limited among others.
