The largest television network in Africa, Nigeria Television Authority [NTA] has honoured the MD/CEO of Inlaks, Mr. Femi Adeoti, with the Exemplary Leadership in Business Award for “best global practices”.
In a statement signed by the Marketing Manager of the station, Kemi Disu, the award was in line with NTA’s determination to identify with individuals and organizations that have continued to excel “in their capacities as entrepreneurs and captains of industries in their chosen careers and profession”.
The statement continued further that “in our effort to encourage and promote few selected organizations and their Chief Executive Officers who have impacted positively on the Nigeria Economy” Inlaks CEO was recommended by the Award Selection Committee for having met the lay down criteria.
Adeoti got the Exemplary Leadership in Business honours based on Inlaks’ conducive business environment, good welfare treatment for its workers, certification of its products and services by the appropriate regulatory agencies.
Other established criteria include the creation of jobs opportunities and employment for Nigerians by the company, good corporate governance and service delivery, among others.
“The award from NTA Channel 10 is for Inlaks Group and the team of dedicated individuals within the system, not me. They deserve this award. I am only receiving the award on their behalf, which is a challenge for us to surpass our service delivery”, Adeoti said.
Disu explained that the award would serve as a boost to the personality and corporate profile of the recipient. Primero Transport
Services, MD/CEO, operator of Lagos Bus Rapid Transit, Fola Tinubu, was another recipient.
