Nutricima Limited, a subsidiary of PZ Cussons, has re-launched its premium nutritional milk brand, Nunu, in its bid to actively support the daily growth of the Nigerian child with a new nutrition campaign tagged “Grow Everyday”.
The campaign which is centered on mothers placing high priority on their children’s nutrition also unveiled popular Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli as the brand ambassador. The event hosted by young Tobe Oboli and Mannie of Cool FM, saw children take charge and coordinate all the activities in a very unique way; it was fun to see children serve as bouncers, ushers, chefs, photographers and even red carpet hosts.
Chairman, PZ, Mr. Tunde Oyelola while speaking at the fun packed event said that Nunu milk has been relaunched to serve the ever growing needs of the Nigerian family. “Although the new improved Nunu is primarily formulated for growing children even adults are not exempted from the goodness that comes from its active nutrients,” he said.
Held at Tickle Bay Events Centre Elegushi, Lekki, the kiddies’ event featured lively and bright kids taking turns to engage in several games; bouncing castles, climbing wall, smarter than a 10 year old, presentations, face paintings and a lot of other exciting outdoor and indoor activities.
The highpoint of the event was the unveil of the New Nunu milk which came out in grand style following a magical stunt performed by one of the amazing kids amidst smokes and confetti. The exciting event also featured brilliant performances from Amarachi, the winner of Nigeria’s Got Talent Season 1 and the ‘Kedike’ crooner, Chidinma.
Speaking on the choice of the award winning Nollywood actress and producer as the Brand Ambassador, Category Marketing Manager, Nunu, Mrs. Charity Ilevbare-Adeniji explained that, “despite her celebrity status, Omoni Oboli’s exemplary motherhood experience as an everyday mum is what a typical Nigerian mother go through and she is in the best position to drive this campaign.”
IMG_8071According to Ilevbare-Adeniji, “the ‘Grow Everyday campaign’ is Nutricima’s way of encouraging mothers to embrace good nutrition for their kids. At Nutricima, we believe that good nutrition for children is vital for good health and wellbeing.”
On her part, Omoni Oboli who had earlier started a campaign on grow every day, thanked Nutricima for choosing her for this role, and for the privilege to champion the cause of mothers and their growing children. Expressing her motherhood experience, she stated that “every mother’s biggest concern is centered on their children growing mentally and physically and achieving their full potentials and my concern is no different. With a brand like Nunu, you are assured that your kids get all the right nutrients needed to grow healthy every day”

Nunu milk is specially formulated for children and contains nine active ingredients that make kids have strong bone and sharp minds. It contains vitamins to keep children focused and essential proteins required for everyday growth.
