The Director of Public Affairs at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Mr Tony Ojobo will lead discussion at the next edition of the acclaimed monthly Breakfast Meeting organised by the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN). The session holds on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Lagos.
Now in its fourth edition, the business-knowledge sharing and networking initiative will this month focus on “Corporate Communication in the Public Sector: Issues, Challenges and Prospects.”
Like the previous editions which enjoyed support from organisations within and outside PRCAN, Airtel Nigeria is the lead sponsor this time, while Compact Communications, a PRCAN member-firm, is the support sponsor.
PRCAN Monthly Breakfasts Meeting has attracted high-profile communication professionals including Kufre Ekanem, Corporate Affairs Adviser of Nigerian Breweries Plc; Emeka Oparah, Director of Corporate Communications and CSR at Airtel Nigeria; and David Okeme, President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) who is also Brand Building Director at Unilever Plc.
John Ehiguese, President PRCAN, said the monthly forum has evolved into a credible platform for honest and purposeful interaction between PRCAN member-firms and clients. “Those who have not attended any of the sessions have been missing mind-blowing testimonies by the speakers and the audience,” he further stated.
PRCAN is legally chartered by a Bye Law of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), to cater to the interests of the consultancy side of PR practice in Nigeria. It currently has a membership of 51 PR consultancy firms providing services across at least 21 PR practice areas
