In its bid to reinforce, inspire confidence and promote a financially secure future among Nigerians, PAL Pensions has introduced a new campaign themed ‘Retire with a Smile’ to encourage Nigerians to save towards retirement.

The campaign was unveiled in Lagos this weekend.

The 360 degree campaign comes in digital, radio jingle, print ads and television commercial. According to the creative agency, there is an activation leg to the project./

The Managing Director, PAL Pensions, Morohunke Bammeke, who said the mission of the organisation is to secure and deliver retirement benefits with ease, pleaded with Nigerians to ensure they save for the future.

Speaking on the new marketing communication campaign, the Head, Brand Management & Corporate Communications of the PFA, Mrs. Sunmisola Mark-Okoma said at the core of this campaign is the need to encourage the younger demography to secure their future by adopting a retirement savings plan.

“We also emphasize on the importance of the Contributory Pensions Scheme. According to a 2017 report by the National Bureau of Statistics, only 10.93 percent of Nigeria’s total working populations have retirement savings accounts,” she said.

This implies that more than 89 percent of Nigeria’s workforce does not have retirement savings accounts. With the campaign launch, we want to underscore the need to choose a credible, customer-focused Pensions Fund Administrator that would ensure the security and growth of their retirement savings.
