Bimbo Ademoye, Temilade ‘Tems’ Openiyi, Tayo Aina, Jerry Mallo, were amongst the winners at the 16th edition of The Future Awards Africa held on Sunday, 20 February 2022 at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. 

The highly-anticipated event was attended by dignitaries such as Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Aisha Yesufu, Shaffy Bello, Segun Arinze, Ini Edo, Kadaria Ahmed, Funke Akindele, Julius Agu, Toyin Abraham, among others. 

Themed Celebrating Challengers and Builders, the 2022 edition of The Future Awards Africa celebrates young Africans that have catalysed growth and inspired change through their inspirational and revolutionary bodies of work across several industries. Expanding on its charge to spotlight individuals who contribute to the success of young people, The Future Awards Africa also celebrated champions of growth and change who are beyond its benchmark ages of 18-31 under the ‘Service to Young People’ category. All nominees in this category were awarded, including; Femi Falana, Tony Elumelu, Aisha Yesufu, Dr. Akintoye Akindele, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Atedo Peterside and Olowogboyega A. Olayemi.
