Following weeks of speculations and counter speculations over the fate of one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, United Bank for Africa (UBA) at the Forex exchange for alleged infractions, the Bank has announced it reinstatement at foreign exchange market by the apex bank.

The Central Bank of Nigeria had allegedly suspended UBA and 8 other Banks for non-remittance of all NNPC/NLNG dollar deposits as a result of TSA policy.
In a release made available to 789marketing yesterday, the Divisional Head, Marketing and Corporate Relations, Charles Aigbe said Further to our press statement of yesterday, “we are pleased to inform our valued customers, stakeholders and business partners as well as the general public that the CBN has re-admitted us into the Foreign Exchange Market following our remittance of all NNPC/NLNG dollar deposits.”
He however expressed appreciation to customers for their unflinching support.
“UBA wishes to thank you all for your continued support and patronage,” Aigbe said
