Lafarge Africa, a prominent building materials company in Sub-Saharan Africa, has named Viola Graham-Douglas as its new Director of Communications, Public Affairs, and Sustainability Development. The announcement was made by the company on its social media platforms today.

Viola Graham-Douglas joins Lafarge from her previous role as the IPS (International Premium Spirits), Reserve & Modern Trade Director at Guinness Nigeria Plc. She brings over a decade of experience in corporate communications and a proven track record of delivering excellence.

In her new role, Viola will be responsible for overseeing Lafarge Africa’s communications strategies, public affairs initiatives, and sustainability development programs. She is known for her dedication to duty and her commitment to achieving results.

Prior to her appointment at Lafarge Africa, Viola served in various capacities at Lafarge (WAPCO Operations, France Group, and Lafarge Africa), with her most recent role being Communications Director. She began her career at Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria as Treasurer and later transitioned to the role of Country Communications Director.

Viola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master of Business Administration from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Master of Science in Investment Management from Cass Business School. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
