Chude Jideonwo has earned himself a reputation for being one of Nigeria’s most revered interviewers, and now, he is moving his highly acclaimed interview show to Africa Magic Urban on both DStv channel 153 and GOtv channel 6.
The talk series titled ‘With Chude’ premiered on the platform on November 6 and will air every Sunday at 8 pm. The show will feature celebrity interviews as well as interviews with everyday Nigerians, discussing the most personal and relevant social issues.
This season Chude is billed to interview some of the biggest names in Nigerian entertainment, from Joke Silva, Bolanle Ninalowo, and Uti Nwachukwu to Nkechi Blessing, Sola Sobowale and Funke Akindele. He will touch on issues such as mental health, beating depression, and surviving toxic relationships – hot topics that have held the attention of fans of his interviewees, making the show a viable platform to provide insight and truth to many half-truths surrounding his guests.
With Chude tells stories that enable and strengthen the mind, the heart, and the spirit. The weekly interviews are widely syndicated across terrestrial television and social media platforms, reaching an average of 8 million people weekly. It has become a safe space for guests to talk about things publicly for the first time. The interviews have been featured everywhere, from the BBC to the New York Times.
