Women in Finance, Nigeria’s umbrella association for women in the financial industry and in finance functions in public and private sector organisations, has said it has signed an international partnership with the Women Working for Change.

A statement said while disclosing the partnership with the organ of the African CEO Forum, an international forum of the African private sector during its mid-year members’ forum, it also announced its new executive appointments.

Announcing the appointments, the Chairperson, Women In Finance Nigeria Mrs Toyin Sanni, said, “We are very excited about the launch of these important commissions under the leadership of these dynamic senior executives and of the election of our new national secretary all of whom served creditably over time at WIFNG.”

The newly appointed expanded executive committee members of the association are the “Managing Director, Emerging Africa Asset Management and Vice – President of the Fund Management Association of Nigeria, Ms Adaku Ijara, as national secretary, Women in Finance Nigeria;

“The Founder, Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Company, Dr. Ola Brown, as chair, Gender Diversity Commission;

The Chief Executive Officer, Fundall Technology Solutions Limited, Mrs Abimbola Shopeju, as chair, STEM Commission;

“The Global Head, Finance and Administration for the Mastercard Foundation, Oluwatoyin Aralepo, as chair, Leadership Development Commission.

“Executive Director at Nova Merchant Bank, Olufunke Okoya, as chair, Women’s Empowerment Commission;

“The CFO at Development Bank of Nigeria, Ijeoma Ozulumba, as chair, Northern Nigeria Commission to be supported by in her role by Mrs Ojone Kabir as vice chair of the commission.

“Co-Founder, Brass & Books Group, Eldorado Solomon-King, as chair, Southern Nigeria Commission.”
