Experienced Commercial and Marketing Manager, Yinka Akindele has joined global brewing giant, Anheuser-Busch InBev as High End Brand Manager for the Budweiser brand.

Yinka who resumed the role in January made the announcement in a post on his LinkedIn page.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as High End Brand Manager – Budweiser at AB InBev! It’s been a wonderful experience working with Kellogg’s team and Tolaram group, as it shaped me for this role.

“From Sales to Customer Marketing and to Consumer Marketing has been such a challenging yet rewarding ride, I’ve been able to hone both my Commercial and Marketing skills managing top brands. My gratitude goes to everyone who has helped along this journey.

“Anyone close to me knows I have a strong passion for the drinks category, hence, joining the Budweiser team means managing a brand I really love…Can’t wait to create magic,” Yinka wrote.

He was until his new role the Brand Manager of Kellogg’s at Tolaram Group. Other places that he had worked include Euro Mega Atlantic Nigeria as its Trade Marketing Manager, where he led planning and managed the budget for both Food and Non-Food categories across all channels. He was also the Channel Sales Development at Mondelēz International where he managed the Beverage, Gum, and Candy categories across Open Market, Retail, and Modern Trade channels.

He graduated from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department at the Federal University of Technology, FUTA, Akure. He then proceeded to the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, for a Master of Business Administration, MBA, in Marketing.

In order to sharpen his marketing horns, Yemi has undergone courses from the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, and London Business School, and a certification program at IE Business School.
