Charles Imuzeze, the managing director of Great Measures Media, a media independent arm in Verdant Zeal Group has left the employment of the group and set to pursue his private venture.

According to sources, Imuzeze left without rancor and the group is planning a befitting sent forth gig for him.

In a letter acknowledging Imuzeze’s resignation obtained by 789marketing, Abimbola Ogunleye, Head, Human Resource & Admin, Verdant Zeal Group said, management earlier on received a notice from ‘ Charles IMUZEZE ‘of his intent to pursue his passion elsewhere.

According to Ogunleye, “Charles joined us in 2008 and later became the Managing Director of Great Measures Media, where he contributed his quota towards the success of brands like VLISCO, Emirates, Interswitch, Verve, Quickteller, Society for Family Health, Reckitt Benckiser & Daarsat amongst many others”

Ogunleye further stated that since the Group encourages everyone to pursue and develop the spirit of enterprise, “we had no choice than to accept his notice of resignation; with his last day at work being Friday the 20th of December 2018.

“A befitting sent forth will be held in his honor at a date to be communicated, the HR head added.

Speaking of his decade’s experience with the company, Imuzeze, who is also a pastor in a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Ogba said, “Working in the Verdant Zeal has been of a great career development for me. I have become better in business development, managing people and resources and knowing the expectations of every organization especially like the one we play in.”

He said the founder of the group; Dr. Tunji Olugbodi had been a great influence to his career trajectory.

“I also appreciate the EVC Dr. Olugbodi, who gave me the opportunity to rise to the top right from when I joined the company in 2008 and giving me the responsibility to midwife Great Measures Media Network.”

He added “Working in Verdant Zeal Group was always a mixture of learning and fun. Learning when you have to be an OTOBOS (On Target, On Budget, On Strategy) master, and dynamic enough to replace the tyre when the car is in motion. This phenomenon came from car racing as strength to quickly revert to the client on the spot. The Fun was all the annual VZ Explore as a way of connecting with places through sight and scene.”

On his new venture, Imuzeze said, “I think the advertising campaign dynamics of Media Planning, Strategy and Buying is just one aspect of what I will like to go into. In the near future, and hopefully when I am fully certain, I may need to broaden the scope of what I intend to do but it will still be trying to find meaningful touch points of connecting consumers with their brands”
