The Chairman of the United Bank for Africa, UBA, Tony Elumelu CFR, was yesterday, recognized for his contributions to the promotion of regional integration, peace and socio-economic development across Africa, through the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
According the post on the Social Media platform of the platform, Tony Elumelu was awarded the ECOWAS Prize of Excellence, an award for deserving citizens of the community that have been self-sacrificing.
Tony Elumelu received the award at the Heads State Summit in Abuja and this is coming at the time when Tony Elumelu Foundation is set to unveil the 2022 entrepreneur today, the 5th of December, in Congo DRC.
