In keeping to its commitment towards economic growth of local businesses in Nigeria, Leadway Assurance Company Limited, launched a market activation in Aba Market last week, this is too aid it’s penetration and market share growth in this market.  The company in partnership with TBWA concept Unit, organised a branding workshop that will help the traders understand the benefits of creating an identity for their business and also taking advantage of the security insurance offers their business.

Brand development  is being envisaged as a necessary service to improve the formal market demand for finished leather/garment goods produced from Aba, to leverage the current ‘Proudly Made in Aba’ campaign, TBWA (managing partners) considers the development of ‘identifiable indigenous brands’ from the Aba cluster as a necessary step. The workshop activity is intended to sensitize the artisanal producers on the merits of creating distinct brands which highlights the

quality of their products and which may stimulate increased domestic demand for their products.

A pool of specialists in brand communication  and develop facilitated a full day engagement session with the individual artisans and Market executives to generate interest in the utilization of the brand development service and insurance products that will help build capacity within the region.
