Mr. Seyi Tinubu, a serial entrepreneur and the son of the All Progressive Congress Presidential flag bearer in the 2023 general election, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has shown his passion for entrepreneurship, human capital development, youth empowerment and skills acquisition by featuring in the popular reality TV show tagged #TryMyJob with Olah.

The show, which is created and anchored by Olawunmi Akalusi has featured several celebrities on and the new episode featured Seyi Tinubu who learned the rudiments of tailoring and the fashion business for a day from his tutor Miss Chinedu Ahanonu.

While undergoing the training and trying out the job, Seyi expressed his appreciation for creativity and commended his teacher Chinedu Ahanonu who left her day job to train other women in the tailoring business. Seyi applauded her for her hardwork adding that “Chinedu has trained over 500 women in the trade and her tenacity, patience and positive impact of her craft to the society deserves recommendation.”

Apart from his passion for entrepreneurship, human capital development and skill acquisitions, Seyi narrated his journey as a philanthropist. He listed some of the projects carried out by him and his organisation to include the renovation of the seafood market in Victoria Island Lagos, Noella Foundation project, which caters to the underprivileged in the society by providing various forms of support for them over the years, impacting the lives of thousands of people across Nigeria.

Seyi, who is also the chief executive officer of LOATSAD Promomedia, a leading media organisation in Nigeria believes that entrepreneurship is key to growing the economy and encourages Nigerian youths to appreciate diversity of crafts which contributes in solving the unemployment challenges in the country.

Speaking on Try My Job reality TV show, Olawunmi said that “Try My Job is aimed at solving social justice issues especially in the areas of unemployment in Nigeria and Africa at large through entertainment, by giving entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their products and services.

According to her, “Influential people are made to swap jobs with blue-collar workers for a day and given the opportunity to share their experiences and give back to the society. The show was launched in 2012 and has since featured famous people across all works of life. It’s currently airing on OlahTv on YouTube.”
