Popular instant messaging platform, WhatsApp, has revealed an innovative addition that empowers users to establish groups on the platform without assigning them names.

The Chief Executive Officer of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, made this known on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

“Making it simpler to start WhatsApp groups by naming them based on who’s in the chat when you don’t feel like coming up with another name,” he posted.

However, unlike the conventional WhatsApp groups capable of accommodating up to 1,024 participants, this new feature restricts unnamed groups to a maximum of six participants, as confirmed by the messaging app.

These groups will be dynamically titled based on the members added to the group, as specified by the company.
