A Nigerian digital bank, Hope Bank PSB, has named 40 winners in the second edition of the Hope Bank Wallet Promo 2.0.
In a statement, it said the first draw of the 12-week promo took place in Lagos, where a total of 40 lucky customers won N50,000 each.
Speaking at the draw, the Managing Director of Hope Bank, Ogechi Altraide, told journalists that the campaign was focused on driving financial inclusion, and ensuring that more Nigerians were able to access and participate in banking services.
Altraide said, “The bank would continue to support the financial inclusion agenda of the Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria aimed at ensuring that Nigeria rises to the challenge of closing the existing gap between the banked and unbanked.
“This initiative from HopeBank is also an avenue to appreciate customers who have demonstrated confidence and loyalty, by committing their hard-earned funds and transacting with the Bank.”
While encouraging Nigerians to take advantage of the promo, Altraide stated that a total of N24m cash reward would be given to lucky Nigerians who would participate in the Hope Bank Wallet Promo 2.0 through weekly draws.
Elaborating on how to participate in Hope Bank Wallet Promo 2.0, the Group Head Operations, Hope Bank, Sunday Abah, said t the scheme was open to both existing and new customers of the bank.
He said, “All that is required is for customers to carry out weekly transactions worth N10,000 to qualify for the weekly draws.
“Over 5,000 customers of the bank qualified for this week’s draw alone, and I encourage customers and non-customers to join the promo, so they can also win.”
