Vitafoam Manufacturing Company has partnered I-Create Club to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and unleash the creative potential of young minds.

A statement by the firm said through the collaboration, the organisations intended to provide a platform for children to explore their entrepreneurial skills and lay a strong foundation for their future success.

The statement said in a recent event, the organisation awarded six exceptional primary school pupils for their outstanding achievements in a highly competitive creative competition.

It added that the event had significant participation, with over 100 primary schools from across Nigeria representing both the public and private sectors.

The statement read in parts, “The comprehensive competition covered a range of categories including business plan, pillow art, debate, and recycling, with the objective of identifying young talents with a natural inclination towards entrepreneurship from an early age.”

It added, “The distinguished winners of the competition are Korede Obadimu (Pillow Art winner – State Primary School, Mangoro); Daniel Taiwo (Pillow Art winner – Peaceville School); Jessica Chinaka (Debate winner – Kayron International School); Ibijola Fadeyibi (Debate winner – Beehive School); Mukhtaar Akande (Recycling winner – Guided Treasures Muslim Nursery and Primary School); and Ndumanya Grace (Recycling winner – Oke-Meta Memorial Primary School).”

The Founder of I-Create Club, Mrs Eniola Afolayan, who spoke during the recent award ceremony held in Lagos, said the annual competition was in its fifth edition.

She emphasised the organisation’s vision of developing future entrepreneurs by providing a solid foundation for young individuals.

Afolayan said, “In Nigeria, the average adult has been described as unemployable. Hence, in line with I-Create Club’s vision, we aim to increase the number of entrepreneurs and employable graduates in Nigeria.

“Our activities are meticulously designed to lay the necessary groundwork for children to become innovative problem solvers. Vitafoam Nigeria Plc has been a dedicated supporter of our cause since the inception of the club.”

She encouraged other corporate entities to follow Vitafoam’s lead and support I-Create Club in enabling more children to benefit from its impactful platform.
