Ariston Global Group has concluded plans to save 70 per cent energy cost as it unveiled thermal comfort solutions for Nigerian households.

Speaking at the unveiling in Lagos recently, Head of Sales for Central Africa, Ariston Global Group, Solomon Umoh, explained that with the advent of prepaid meters, solar heaters households could now save 70 per cent on energy costs.

He also said that the solar-powered water heaters work on solar technology, using sunlight while also protecting the environment from carbon emissions.

“Our solar-powered water heaters work on solar technology, using sunlight and protecting the environment by no carbon emissions. With the advent of prepaid meters, solar heaters households can now save 70percent on energy costs. It can do this because it works on the principle of the reverse refrigeration cycle, where it heats warm air from the environment, compresses it and uses it to heat up the water,”

He added, “It is possible because our solar product can heat up 30 litres of water on 1.5 kilowatts of energy which is relatively lower than the competitor’s offering of 15 liters of water on 2kilowatts of energy”

Earlier, the Director, Central Africa, Ariston Group, Richmond Aguiar, noted that the company had consistently invested in research and development, leading to multiple advanced products with unique offering.
