Out-of-home media company AllOver Media has acquired Boxi, a truck media company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The purchase allows AllOver’s truck ad division to enhance its offerings in the outdoor segment. AllOver Media services both corporate and government customers, from consumer-packaged goods to wine and spirits to the entertainment industry.

Clients display messages via digital and print media in stores, bars, ski resorts, pharmacies and trucks. More than 1,000 Boxi trucks a year are wrapped with brand messages.

The medium allows for high impact and low CPMs.

“As we head into the next several months and beyond, our primary focus is on technology and innovation. We want to continue building out great technology solutions for our partners, enabling them with great campaign measurement, reporting transparency and innovation,” Neal Pecchenino, CEO of Boxi, told Agency Daily.

Minneapolis-based AllOver Media, founded in 2002, is a leading multi-platform OOH advertising company in the U.S. Boxi was founded in 2017.

“In the 12 months ending in March 2023, U.S. drivers have logged 3.27 trillion miles, higher than any other comparable 12-month period in history,” said Jeff Griffing, CEO of AllOver Media. “It’s impossible to ignore the amount of people on roadways today, and we see this trend as an opportunity to aggregate those eyeballs into advertising impressions for our customers.”
