Afrimedical Manufacturing and Supplies Limited, a subsidiary of Mikano International Limited, has received the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification.
The certificate confirming the company’s new status was presented to the Group Director, Mikano International Limited, Omar Karameh by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria during a ceremony at the firm’s manufacturing plant in Ogun on Thursday.
Speaking during the certificate presentation, the Director-General of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria, Farouk Salim, represented by the Director of Management System Certification at SON, Obiageli Egbuciem, said the ISO 9001:2015 certification was a demonstration of the company’s conformity to internationally acceptable standard requirements.
He said, “The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard provides you with an opportunity and frameworks to satisfy your customers and retain their loyalty for long-term revenue profitability.”
On his part, the Deputy Managing Director of Mikano International Limited, Ziad Sayed stated that the certification signified that the company’s processes and systems met the standards set forth by the International Organisation for Standardisation.
