The seasoned marketing communications and brand management professional, Bestman Jumbo- Nze has debunked report in the media that he has rejoined Rosabel Advertising as managing consultant.
789MARKETING had last week reported that Bestman had rejoined Rosabel Advertising (then Leo Burnett), the agency he had served in the early 2000 as senior group head in charge of Vmobile (now Airtel), Golden Penny Flower Mills and some notable brands.
Bestman, who debunked the report told 789marketing that as at the time the report came out, he was discussing about the job but at no time was he engaged.
“I don’t know who leaked my discussion with the Rosabel management. It was true that I had wanted to rejoin the agency agency because of the love I have the organisation but as I speak I am not a Rosabel staff,” the Chop restaurant and bar owner said.
Rosabel is one of the biggest Advertising companies in Nigeria reputed to have built and promoted top brands such as VMobile, Bournvita, Seaman, MKO Abiola’s Hope campaign in 1993.
The owners, Otunba Tunde Adelaja and Akin Odunsi are some of the finest advertising practitioners this country has produced.
Meanwhile, Mr. Stanley Salami will continue to pilot the affairs of the agency on acting basis until the management finds a capable hand that will take the agency to its competitive level once more.
