Fresh graduates of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) have been urged to be good ambassadors of the institute, by eschewing activities that could bring marketing practice into disrepute.

Making this charge in Lagos at the 8th convocation ceremony of the institute, held recently, its President, Mr. Tony Agenmonmen urged the fresh graduates to play by the rules, guiding  marketing practice, in whatever space they found themselves,  so as to enhance the equity of marketing the practice in the country.

He explained that all the graduands had been found worthy in character and learning, having scaled through series of tests and examinations conducted  by the institute and ratified by the institute’s council, before being issued the institute’s certificate.

While assuring stakeholders of the council’s commitment to upholding the ethics of the profession and reposition the practice to meet the challenges of the time, the NIMN boss stated that institute had just secured a more befitting secretariat, as a way of creating the right ambience for the practice to flourish.

About 320 students  were issued Post Graduate Diploma certificates and Professional Certificate in Marketing.
