Relationship between Avalon Intercontinental Nigeria Limited, an international independent hotel group and Marriot, owners of Renaissance Hotel has ended while Radisson Blu Hotel, a global hotel chain within the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group appointed new partner to run the Ikeja GRA hotel.

Early last year, Avalon entered into a partnership agreement with Marriot Hotel Group for one of its property along Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA Lagos.

According to a reliable source, Renaissance Hotel ended its romance with Avalon as a result of operating cost.

The General Manager, Radisson Blu Hotel Lagos Ikeja Radisson Blu, George Balassis said the hotel is one of the world’s fastest growing hotel companies with a portfolio in Africa of 85 hotels and over 17,800 rooms in operation and under development.

According to Avalon, this development follows a mutual agreement to part ways with our former partners, the Renaissance Hotel group.
